Director, Accounting Solutions & Domain Expertise

About the role

The Director of Accounting Solutions & Domain Expertise leads a specialised team that delivers high‑quality accounting support using Intuit tools. Partnering with Learning & Development, Operations and Client Delivery, the role ensures technical proficiency, operational readiness and compliance with IFRS, US GAAP and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the accounting subject‑matter expert for services built around the QuickBooks ecosystem and related Intuit tools.
• Define and champion best practices for AP, AR, general‑ledger management, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Recruit, develop and mentor a high‑performing team of accounting specialists, establishing career pathways and succession plans.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to create training programs, certifications and operational playbooks.
• Design scalable accounting support solutions, optimise workflows and drive automation to meet SLA and performance standards.
• Provide guidance to delivery teams to ensure accuracy, compliance and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting operations and leadership, preferably within a services or consulting environment.
• Deep knowledge of Intuit products (QuickBooks) and strong familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Proven ability to build and scale high‑performing teams and develop talent.
• Client‑centric mindset with a track record of nurturing relationships and driving revenue growth.
