Dotnet Developer – CI/CD & Build Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a technically strong Dotnet Developer to lead the modernization of our CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on migrating legacy build systems to GitHub Actions while maintaining high standards of security and reliability for .NET applications.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate enterprise‑level CI/CD pipelines from TeamCity to GitHub Actions.
• Maintain and optimise automated build processes for complex .NET solutions, handling .sln and .csproj files.
• Integrate OpenText Fortify security scanning into CI/CD workflows.
• Troubleshoot compilation errors, dependency conflicts, and pipeline bottlenecks.
• Standardise build processes across projects to ensure consistent artifact generation and testing.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve continuous integration practices.
• Manage repository health using Git, branching strategies, and pull‑request reviews.
• Track migration progress and document improvements using Jira.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on CI/CD and build engineering.
• Proven ability to communicate technical findings clearly and work collaboratively.

Required skills

• C# and the .NET ecosystem (Framework & Core).
• PowerShell and Batch scripting for automation.
• GitHub Actions configuration and Git/GitHub repository management.
• MSBuild, NuGet package management, Visual Studio / VS Code.
• Experience with OpenText Fortify (SAST) integration.
• Familiarity with TeamCity migration concepts.
• Jira for Agile task tracking.
