Cost Manager – Business Analyst (Cost Accounting Lead)

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Cost Manager to lead cost accounting activities for its plant facility in Costa Rica. The role combines financial analysis, budgeting, and operational support to ensure accurate product costing and manufacturing performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support operations staff in managing annual budgets, quarterly projections, and monthly actuals, focusing on material variances, labor, indirect expenses, inventory, and capital.
• Prepare, analyze, and report monthly and annual financial results to facility, division, and corporate management.
• Own the fixed and variable operating budget end‑to‑end for the plant.
• Conduct monthly balance‑sheet reviews and reconciliations.
• Assist teams in compiling cost‑improvement initiatives, setting goals, and forecasting.
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with control procedures.
• Oversee annual physical inventory and drive operational improvements.
• Document critical financial processes and maintain standardized finance procedures across the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum qualifications include plant controlling experience.
• People‑management experience is required.
• Relevant professional accounting background.
