Consultant Auditor (Remote – Heredia area)

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Consultant Auditor to perform correspondence‑based audits on Goods for Resale Suppliers. The role is remote, but candidates must live within a commutable distance of Heredia. You will analyze merchant agreements and transaction data to determine financial liabilities and work directly with suppliers and merchants to resolve issues.

Key responsibilities

• Audit data to identify over‑ or under‑payments, duplicate payments, missed allowances, rebates, and other discrepancies.
• Conduct correspondence‑related audits by comparing email correspondence with invoice data and reconstructing merchant agreements.
• Verify supplier transaction accuracy across invoices, purchase orders, item files, and agreements.
• Create and present claims to suppliers and merchants, defending the validity of each claim through resolution.
• Collaborate with suppliers and merchants to address underlying issues and align on audit guidelines.
• Identify new audit concepts, assist in guideline creation, and update existing procedures.
• Work with external audit firms to ensure their processes meet internal standards and detect potential fraud or control gaps.
• Train new team members and share best practices to capture missed claims.
• Lead or contribute to team functions as needed.

Required profile

• Experience performing correspondence‑based audits on supplier transactions.
• Strong analytical abilities to detect payment discrepancies and validate agreements.
• Effective communication skills for presenting and defending audit findings.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
