CAD Design Technician I

About the role

This temporary position supports the creation and maintenance of CAD specifications for cardiovascular convenience kits. The role ensures compliance with quality policies while collaborating with sales, customers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assign pack numbers for new kits and update the master specification log.
• Draft CAD specifications used to assemble cardiovascular convenience kits.
• Communicate with sales representatives and customers for clarification when needed.
• Incorporate Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tasks and inspections into specifications.
• Generate and transfer bills of materials to the ERP management system.
• Submit specifications for quotations, approvals, and non‑sterile sample builds.
• Revise specifications and bills of materials per sales or customer requests.
• Maintain CAD system logs, forms, and status controls for specification changes and approvals.
• Provide support to the Drawing department and other teams on specification or BOM issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Engineering drawing or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience using CAD software.
• Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Availability for a six‑month temporary contract.

Required skills

• CAD software proficiency.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) processes.
• Ability to generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOM).
