About the role

EXSquared is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its US‑focused IT staffing, nearshore consulting, and custom software development services. Based in Costa Rica, you will work on‑site, building a pipeline from scratch and closing deals with senior decision‑makers in the United States.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities in the US technology sector.
  • Build and manage an outbound pipeline using CRM tools and prospecting platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from outreach through proposal, negotiation and contract closure.
  • Engage C‑level and VP‑level stakeholders to understand needs and position tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with delivery and recruiting teams to align client expectations with service delivery.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and pipeline KPIs.

Required profile

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience in IT staffing, nearshore outsourcing, custom software development or related technology services.
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts and achieving sales quotas.
  • Experience engaging senior decision‑makers at US‑based companies.
  • Solid understanding of staff augmentation, SOW models and US tech market dynamics.
  • Fluent English (C1/C2) – written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
