About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead strategic initiatives with top vendors worldwide and drive growth in emerging markets as part of Amazon's Global Purchasing Program. You will own the Vendor Engagement strategy, pitch to and onboard key vendors, and help expand Amazon Stores’ global footprint.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with senior decision‑makers at prospective vendors.
- Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams to design and deliver Amazon solutions that exceed vendor and customer expectations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to remove roadblocks, implement change, and close business opportunities efficiently.
- Develop scalable methodologies to engage large groups of vendors, improving import processes and integrating them into Amazon’s global supply chain.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for global inventory transfer products, defining requirements and driving innovation.
- Advocate for supplier‑experience improvements by designing long‑term, scalable solutions.
- Support new product launches with flexible, compliant solutions across multiple countries.
- Lead vendor education initiatives to highlight opportunities in emerging markets.

- Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision.
