BRM Content Risk Manager

About the role

The BRM Content Risk Manager will lead a large team responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of content published by independent authors on our Kindle platform. This senior position focuses on reducing defects, improving time‑to‑publish, and driving operational excellence for a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 40‑45 reviewers, Risk Specialists, and a Team Manager.
• Establish and maintain SOPs, process controls, and alignment with risk and regulatory requirements.
• Measure key metrics, assess product and program level risks, and recommend mitigation actions.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management to develop functional and leadership capabilities.
• Promote risk‑management awareness across the organization and act as a subject‑matter expert.
• Leverage technology and process innovation to improve scalability, efficiency, and scope.
• Analyze data to identify root causes of issues and implement solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership as needed.

Required profile

• Proven business analysis experience with strong analytical and judgment skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence through collaboration and drive measurable results.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to see both the big picture and granular issues.
• Experience managing large, multi‑location teams.
• Strong understanding of risk tolerance, mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance.
