Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager owns two core acquisition‑integration functions: operational cutover and migration program management. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Course Content and Development, the role coordinates cross‑functional day‑one readiness and ensures operational stability within the first 90 days after a closing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational cutover activities, coordinating platform access, website changes, handoffs, internal training, vendor and expense transfers during the first 90 days after closing.
• Create and manage cutover projects, workflows, dashboards, and reporting in Jira, providing weekly updates to internal and seller‑side stakeholders.
• Identify MVP requirements for migrated businesses, gather detailed business requirements, and align them with IT and PMO teams.
• Establish and manage the acquisition program in Jira Cloud, collaborating with PMO to set migration road‑maps and schedules.
• Facilitate weekly A&I meetings, track blockers, and escalate issues requiring leadership decisions.
• Maintain a reusable operational cutover checklist and ensure its completion with business stakeholders.
• Communicate readiness, progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and recommend post‑migration improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in project management, business operations, systems implementation, or cross‑functional leadership.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects across multiple stakeholders and remote teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, project management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
