AI Solutions & Automation Developer

About the role

Join Kuehne+Nagel Global Services as an AI Solutions & Automation Developer. You will design, develop and optimise end‑to‑end automation solutions that leverage Python, UiPath, APIs and AI technologies to solve complex operational challenges and create measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain intelligent automation workflows using Python, UiPath (or similar RPA tools) and API integrations.
• Transform data into actionable insights, improving speed, quality and efficiency across logistics processes.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum squad with Product Owners, Business Analysts and fellow developers to co‑create scalable digital solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution of automation frameworks, coding standards, reusable libraries and best practices.
• Research, evaluate and pilot new AI tools, Python libraries and automation technologies to keep the organisation at the forefront of innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven expertise in Python development and hands‑on experience with UiPath or comparable RPA platforms.
• Solid understanding of API integrations, system connectivity and structured workflow logic.
• Interest or experience in AI technologies, large language models, machine‑learning models or intelligent automation.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, elegant technical solutions.
• Curiosity and motivation to explore emerging tools and technologies.
