Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote, Costa Rica)

About the role

Trax Technologies is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate the infrastructure that powers its global logistics platform. This remote position requires the candidate to reside in San Jose, Costa Rica, and offers the chance to shape a high‑impact, cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and lead the infrastructure supporting critical supply‑chain services.
• Tackle scalability, resilience, and reliability challenges across multiple technologies.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code, and monitoring solutions.
• Make strategic technology decisions balancing short‑term needs with long‑term growth.
• Mentor team members on DevOps best practices and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve technical milestones.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional DevOps, infrastructure, or systems administration experience.
• 5+ years designing, automating, and scaling distributed systems.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration.
• Expert‑level proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Advanced experience building complex CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions.
