Video Data Entry Specialist – Motion Capture (Remote)

About the role

The Video Data Entry Specialist will support a biomechanics research project by capturing high‑quality motion data using a smartphone’s inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensors. Working remotely from Latin America, you will record synchronized video footage of specified physical activities to ensure accurate and deterministic datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Capture precise motion data with a smartphone IMU during designated activities.
• Record synchronized video of both hands using a head‑strap setup.
• Follow detailed technical protocols to meet strict quality, labeling, and determinism standards.
• Deliver at least 10 hours of approved video data each week throughout the project.
• Communicate proactively with the research team to clarify requirements and share collection insights.
• Maintain timely delivery aligned with project milestones.

Required profile

• Access to a head‑strap that can record both hands within 48 hours of start.
• Compatible smartphone capable of high‑fidelity IMU data collection.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to follow standardized protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and remote collaboration.
• Advanced tech‑savviness with mobile devices for sensor and video capture.
