Value Stream Manager – Production Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Value Stream Manager to lead the overall operations of a manufacturing value stream in Coyol, Costa Rica. The role is responsible for financial performance, strategic planning and delivering quality medical devices that improve lives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the value stream, ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets are met.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence using lean tools.
• Manage financial performance, forecasting, KPI monitoring and strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, FDA, ISO and other medical‑device regulations.
• Maintain SPQDC goals, lead Tier meetings and monitor performance.
• Develop and empower teams through training, resource allocation and leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years of people‑management responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead change, analyse data and make decisions independently.
• Fluent English (C1‑C2).

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP knowledge.
• Understanding of GMP, FDA and ISO regulatory requirements.
• Experience with manufacturing KPIs, financial analysis and strategic planning.
