UI Developer – Remote Contract (up to $90/hr)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled UI Developer to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will work on building and maintaining sophisticated user interfaces using modern frontend technologies while collaborating closely with designers and backend developers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex UIs with React, TypeScript, and contemporary frontend frameworks.
• Convert Figma designs and wireframes into pixel‑perfect, reusable components using Tailwind CSS, SCSS, and Bootstrap.
• Ensure responsive and consistent design across devices and browsers following best coding standards.
• Implement performance optimizations and uphold WCAG web‑accessibility standards.
• Integrate frontend components with REST APIs for smooth data flow and robust interaction.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders, communicating clearly in written and verbal form.
• Own frontend architecture, promote clean code, and actively participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Strong experience focused on React and TypeScript.
• Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Demonstrated expertise in responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility, and DOM manipulation.
• Proven ability to integrate REST APIs and tune frontend performance.
• Solid experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Track record of translating Figma designs into maintainable code.
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards and UX principles.
