Travel Consultant (Hybrid) – Heredia, Costa Rica

About the role

As a Travel Consultant at BCD Travel, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, helping them navigate corporate travel policies and book journeys that are efficient, cost‑effective, and compliant with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Search, confirm, and manage travel reservations for clients.
• Interpret and apply client travel policies, providing expert advice.
• Handle regulatory requirements such as DOT, TSA, passport, and visa documentation.
• Provide clients with up‑to‑date industry information, including low fares, exchange rates, and penalties.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and commercial relationships.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of the travel industry landscape.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a travel agent or consultant.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Solid understanding of travel industry policies, procedures, and processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS platforms – Sabre or Amadeus.
