Travel Consultant (ERM) – Hybrid – Heredia, Costa Rica

About the role

The Travel Consultant (ERM) joins BCD Travel’s global team to serve business customers in a hybrid setting. You will be the primary point of contact, handling travel inquiries across phone and email, providing expert advice, and upselling relevant products while ensuring a seamless travel experience.

Key responsibilities

• Search, book, and confirm travel reservations for customers.
• Manage crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling.
• Provide industry information such as low fares, exchange rates, penalties, and visa requirements.
• Respond promptly to customer requests and give undivided attention.
• Assist team members across functions and meet individual and team performance goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments.
• Hands‑on expertise managing crew movements and handling disruptions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, 24/7 service environment.
• Effective collaboration within a global, multi‑regional operation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Solid understanding of travel industry policies, procedures, and customer service excellence.
