Training Expert – Financial Management & Human Resources

About the role

FreeBalance is looking for a seasoned Training Expert to design and deliver training programs that support the implementation of financial management and human resources technological tools in Costa Rica. The role combines adult‑learning expertise with strong project coordination to ensure training aligns with both client objectives and organizational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for financial management (AF) and human resources (TH) tools.
• Lead the design of curricula, applying adult‑learning methodologies and instructional design principles.
• Create training materials, resources, and assessment tools to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to identify needs and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions, ensuring high engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate training impact, collecting feedback and performance data for continuous improvement.
• Serve as liaison between project teams, government agencies, and other partners.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes in compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Professional degree in social sciences, arts, psychology, sociology, organizational development or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in training design and delivery.
• Leadership experience on at least three projects involving curriculum design for technology‑tool implementation.
• Proven track record leading training initiatives in the government sector with strong organizational impact.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
