Topographic Surveyor – International Luxury Development Projects

About the role

Utopia is seeking an experienced Topographic Surveyor to support its global portfolio of luxury hospitality developments. The role involves travelling to project sites worldwide, conducting precise surveys, and ensuring that as‑built conditions match the approved architectural and engineering designs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial site surveys of newly acquired plots, documenting terrain, boundaries, elevations and existing infrastructure.
• Conduct monthly on‑site visits to active construction projects to execute as‑built surveys and monitor progress.
• Verify construction work against architectural drawings, engineering plans, BIM models and approved documentation, flagging deviations and technical issues.
• Produce detailed survey reports, measurement records, photographic documentation and technical assessments for internal teams.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, contractors and consultants to align construction with design intent.
• Maintain accurate records of project status, milestones and survey data across all active developments.
• Support quality‑control processes by ensuring dimensional compliance and adherence to specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction or topographic surveying on international projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in diverse environments.
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to varying site conditions.
