Renewable Civil CADD Technician I

About the role

Ulteig is looking for a Renewable Civil CADD Technician I to join its San Jose, Costa Rica office. The technician will support a team of engineers by producing technical drafting and construction drawings for commercial site and renewable civil projects, working under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Apply generative design principles to explore multiple design options and identify optimal solutions.
• Automate repetitive design tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Create detailed construction drawings for solar, wind, and other renewable civil designs.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure project deliverables meet schedule and quality standards.

Required profile

• Two‑year technical degree or current enrollment in a Technical Drafting program.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with GIS tools, preferably ESRI software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Knowledge of commercial site, solar, or wind civil design is a plus.
• Good organization, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Certification or coursework in computational design tools and methodologies.
