About the role

The Process Technician works on the injection molding line, ensuring equipment is correctly configured, maintained, and operated to produce high‑quality medical device components. The role is on Shift A and involves close collaboration with manufacturing engineers and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in training personnel on efficient equipment operation and process methods.
• Perform mold changes, configurations, and daily maintenance on all injection molding machines.
• Follow product handling procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate on development and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Monitor product quality during production and support problem‑solving activities.
• Work with manufacturing engineers to establish and approve new machine parameters, documenting optimal processes.
• Report equipment damage immediately and notify engineering management of quality‑related issues.
• Verify specifications using micrometers, calipers, rulers, and microscopes; identify and investigate non‑conforming parts.
• Organize and prioritize tasks based on business needs and contribute to financial targets.

Required profile

• High school diploma with technical certification or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in plastic injection molding and manufacturing equipment within the medical device industry.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and ability to read technical calculations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic database usage.
