Process Engineering Consultant II – Medical Device

About the role
This role supports the Manufacturing department by providing sustaining engineering support for existing medical‑device manufacturing processes, ensuring process stability, product quality, and continuous production.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to process parameters, equipment, tooling, and materials.
- Investigate process failures and recurring production problems and implement approved corrective actions.
- Monitor yield, scrap, rework, and cycle time to identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain process specifications, work instructions, and related controlled documentation.
- Assess and implement approved process changes, including verification and validation activities when required.
- Support operator training and supervise the Apprentice Engineer’s process‑related assignments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
- Proficiency in Minitab statistical analysis.
- Experience with SolidWorks, ProE or Inventor and 3D prototyping (desirable).
- Familiarity with electronic management documentation.
- Native‑level Spanish and fluent English (speaking, writing, reading).
