About the role

Griffith Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform corrective, preventive and scheduled maintenance on production equipment, general services and plant systems. The position works on a rotating shift schedule to ensure continuous support for manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Maintain metal detectors and perform routine inspections.
• Carry out electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and piping installations and repairs.
• Provide technical support to production teams and document shift handovers.
• Develop and follow maintenance routines and record keeping procedures.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects to boost productivity.
• Support environmental and safety compliance, including BPM standards.
• Assist in tool inventory, department organization and training of new technicians and operators.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education (9th grade) with a technical background in electromechanics, mechanics or electronics.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role; food‑industry experience not mandatory.
• Knowledge of stainless‑steel welding.
