Technical Training Supervisor – Shift B

About the role

Make a meaningful difference to patients worldwide by leading the technical training function within Edwards Lifesciences manufacturing. The Supervisor I, Technical Training (Shift B) oversees trainers, manages training activities, and ensures compliance with quality and audit standards while supporting new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise trainers and employees, manage training materials and inventory, and track productivity, quality and training metrics.
• Develop, plan and schedule screening, work trials and other training activities in response to Master Product Schedule and New Product Introduction needs.
• Provide regular progress reports, conduct performance reviews for trainers and trainees, and resolve performance issues.
• Participate in improvement projects, partner with engineering on investigations, and ensure training documentation is valid and audit‑ready.
• Prepare and maintain training records to meet audit compliance and perform other incidental duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, business or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment and working with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of an ERP system, preferably JD Edwards.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology.
• Familiarity with manufacturing procedures and Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
