Tech Lead (Sanity CMS) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive Sanity CMS migration projects for our U.S. clients. The role is fully remote and will be embedded within the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and execution of large‑scale CMS migration initiatives, including content modeling, data mapping and transformation.
• Design and implement backend services, APIs and integration layers using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, content, engineering) to define migration strategies and ensure data integrity.
• Mentor and guide engineering team members through complex technical challenges.
• Maintain and evolve the Sanity CMS content schemas, APIs and migration tooling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role, making architecture decisions.
• Advanced English communication skills and a completed four‑year college degree.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Sanity CMS (content schemas, APIs, migration tooling).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Next.js.
• Understanding of headless CMS architectures and document‑based databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment workflows.
