Senior Backend Drupal Engineer

About the role

Four Kitchens is seeking a Senior Backend Drupal Engineer to join its distributed team. You will work on custom and community Drupal modules, migrate legacy content, and collaborate closely with clients and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable PHP and JavaScript code for custom modules and migrations.
• Participate in peer code reviews and help architect Drupal solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with clients on project engagements, providing consulting and advice.
• Identify and solve complex technical challenges and stay current with web technology innovations.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior experience developing with PHP and JavaScript.
• Exposure to Drupal or similar CMS (e.g., WordPress) and a willingness to deepen Drupal expertise.
• Strong communication skills for client presentations, demos, and documentation.
• Experience in higher‑education, media, or publishing sectors and background in an agency or SMB environment.
