Teaching Assistant – Bilingual Preschool

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Teaching Assistant to support the lead teacher in a bilingual (Spanish‑English) preschool environment. The role focuses on fostering cognitive, social and emotional development of children aged 3‑5 years while ensuring a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering bilingual educational activities.
• Reinforce instructions and concepts in both Spanish and English.
• Prepare and organize bilingual teaching materials.
• Encourage the use of English during daily routines.
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring safety and well‑being.
• Support hygiene and nutrition habits.
• Maintain classroom order and cleanliness.
• Help with basic record‑keeping and school events.
• Facilitate communication with parents.

Required profile

• Technical degree or student in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
• High school diploma (minimum requirement).
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1‑B2 level).
• Previous experience with children is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of child development and first aid is a plus.
