Payroll Product Instructor

About the role

Workday’s Education team is seeking a Payroll Product Instructor to develop and deliver engaging learning solutions that help customers, partners, and employees maximize the Workday platform.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a training and qualification program and become proficient in the Workday product suite.
• Lead full days of training in English to audiences that can include customers, partners, and Workmates.
• Use dynamic presentation skills in onsite and/or virtual training to engage students and improve learning outcomes.
• Provide students with tools to be successful by applying diverse facilitation techniques.
• Stay informed on software and product updates and quickly master new features.
• Perform administrative tasks for the classes you conduct.
• Collaborate with the content development team to define course structure, content, and delivery method.
• Build relationships across teams to share methodologies, drive innovation, and meet goals.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects.
• Mentor other instructors on areas of expertise.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience delivering content to functional or technical audiences.
• 2+ years implementing or supporting enterprise payroll applications such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP in Payroll, Time, or Absence.
• 2+ years business experience in a related department (Payroll, Time or Absence).
• Advanced/Professional communication in English.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑paced, evolving environment.
• Self‑motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Workday payroll product suite (or similar enterprise payroll systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP).
• Facilitation and training delivery techniques.
• Use of classroom technologies including electronic training material, remote conferencing tools, interactive display screens, and audio/visual equipment.
