Talent Screener – Remote Candidate Screening Specialist

About the role

Luminize is seeking a remote Talent Screener to be the first conversation with every great hire. Working US Pacific hours, you will own the qualification step between application and recruiter for roles across corporate and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review inbound applications and resumes against role requirements, keeping the applicant queue current.
• Conduct structured phone and video screening interviews using approved guides and scorecards.
• Write concise, evidence‑based notes in the ATS and make advance or decline decisions with accurate reason codes.
• Flag strong candidates for other open roles and surface patterns that may require guide updates.
• Support general ATS upkeep, ensuring job posts, questions, emails, and reporting stay accurate.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience conducting candidate screens and structured interviews.
• US‑market recruiting experience with excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to assess candidates against a defined scorecard and accept calibration feedback.
• Strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and ability to work 8 AM–5 PM Pacific Time.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Experience with an ATS (e.g., JazzHR).
• Familiarity with AI‑driven video interview platforms (e.g., Fathom).
