Systems Administrator (Unix & Windows)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Unix & Wintel Systems Administrator to join our infrastructure team in San Jose, Costa Rica. The role focuses on installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing both Unix/Linux and Windows Server environments across on‑premises and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Unix/Linux distributions (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Rocky) and Windows Server systems.
• Maintain high availability, performance, and security for all servers.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V, including vCenter and ESXi host management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business operations and drive infrastructure improvements.
• Participate in a rotational on‑call schedule (approximately once every 2–3 months).
