Systems Administrator IV – VDI Ops Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Administrator IV – VDI Ops Engineer to ensure the stability, availability and performance of our enterprise systems. The role provides first- and second-level support, collaborates with product users and suppliers, and drives continuous improvement through feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve system and application issues for technical and project teams.
• Maintain stability, availability and performance of enterprise systems, including networks, databases, storage and security.
• Provide first- and second-level incident diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Escalate critical or unresolved issues to senior engineers.
• Plan and execute complex system configurations, installations, upgrades and de-commissions.
• Create and maintain documentation for new and existing systems.
• Coordinate resources, follow procedures and meet project deadlines.
• Communicate with users and suppliers to gather requirements, share information and identify improvement opportunities.
