Supply Chain S&OE Excellence Lead

About the role

Huntsman is looking for a Supply Chain S&OE Excellence Lead for its Polyurethanes Division in San Jose, Costa Rica. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Excellence Sr Manager, the role will drive planning process excellence across the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead S&OE process improvement initiatives using Lean, automation and digital tools.
• Identify and eliminate non‑value‑added activities to boost supply chain performance.
• Drive digitisation and technology‑enabled enhancements aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate current planning processes and support the design of future‑state operating models.
• Ensure S&OE processes are standardised and aligned with global governance.
• Monitor and improve supply planning KPIs such as plan adherence, schedule stability, inventory health and customer service.
• Lead change‑management activities and influence stakeholders to sustain improvements.
• Coach and develop supply planning capabilities through training and best‑practice sharing.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to raise planning maturity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of supply chain planning experience, including supply and demand planning.
• Unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2).
• Availability to work on‑site in Heredia (Mon, Wed, Thu) with possible additional office days.

• Lean methodology and process‑improvement techniques.
