Supply Chain, Purchasing & Compliance Coordinator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented Supply Chain, Purchasing & Compliance Coordinator to support our expanding international operations in the food manufacturing and distribution sector. The role is fully remote and focuses on managing purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and import logistics while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day purchasing with domestic and international suppliers, create and track purchase orders, and maintain supplier records.
• Negotiate pricing, monitor lead times, and resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, and deliveries.
• Manage inbound shipments, work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses, and prepare import documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, COAs, and bills of lading.
• Support customs clearance, address shipment delays or damages, and calculate landed costs.
• Maintain food‑safety and regulatory compliance documentation, including supplier approvals, COAs, and audit records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, and supply‑chain operations, preferably in food manufacturing or import‑distribution.
• Strong understanding of import logistics, customs procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented mindset and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
