Supply Chain Planning Intern

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is recruiting a Supply Chain Planning Intern, an onsite position based primarily at an HPE office. The role is aimed at students or recent graduates pursuing a degree in any field, and covers research, teamwork, problem-solving and hands-on experience in supply chain planning.

Key responsibilities

• Support regional supply planning and materials management through data analysis, reporting and project coordination.
• Monitor inventory, supply, demand and operational performance metrics to spot trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Help maintain planning tools, databases, dashboards and reports used for business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and operational initiatives.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
• Support projects on inventory optimization, data management, forecasting, shortage analysis, supply continuity and operational analytics.
• Prepare business analyses, presentations and data-driven recommendations for team meetings and stakeholder discussions.
• Take part in team reviews, project updates and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• University students actively enrolled, usually working during school breaks; part-time work during the school year may be possible in some countries.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to work with and interpret large datasets.
• Good understanding of supply chain, operations, inventory management, logistics, manufacturing or business analytics concepts is preferred.
