Supply Chain Manager – Sustainable Agriculture

About the role

American Vanguard is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise the regional supply chain for its Sustainable Agriculture and Crop Care (SACC) business. Based in Muelle, San Carlos, you will ensure product availability, drive cost efficiencies and support the company’s sustainable growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional demand planning and supply planning in close coordination with Commercial and Finance teams.
• Manage inventory levels to maintain product availability, healthy turnover and minimise obsolescence.
• Coordinate import, export, international logistics and distribution operations across the SACC region.
• Oversee performance of suppliers, logistics service providers and strategic partners, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Develop and implement continuous‑improvement, cost‑reduction and working‑capital optimisation initiatives.
• Lead the monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process and align Commercial, Finance and Operations functions.
• Own supply‑chain KPIs, drive improvements and meet service, inventory and working‑capital targets.
• Create supply‑risk mitigation plans to ensure business continuity across the region.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead regional demand and supply planning processes.
• Experience managing inventory, logistics, and import/export operations.
• Strong collaboration skills with Commercial, Finance and Operations teams.
• Track record of driving continuous‑improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
