Junior Buyer – Indirect Procurement Operations

About the role

Huntsman is looking for a Junior Buyer to support indirect procurement operations within its GBS Division in Costa Rica. The role involves monitoring procurement systems, managing purchasing data, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor procurement systems, resolve integration errors, place purchase orders and process invoice disputes across multiple purchasing areas.
• Maintain purchasing data including pricing, order profiles and supplier information in line with strategic sourcing expectations.
• Act as the daily operational liaison between purchasing, manufacturing sites and administrative departments.
• Identify and propose process improvement opportunities to drive automation and efficiency.
• Provide status updates to internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with environmental, health and security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English at B2 level.

Required skills

• Understanding of the purchasing process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
