Supply Chain Manager – Medical Devices

About the role

Join a global medical‑technology leader to shape a high‑performing supply chain in a dynamic greenfield environment. You will own supply planning, procurement and end‑to‑end supply chain management for medical devices, building scalable processes with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supply planning, procurement and purchase‑order activities aligned with forecasted demand.
• Manage supplier capacity, performance, quality, cost and delivery reliability.
• Establish and continuously improve planning, procurement and inventory‑management processes.
• Monitor inventory levels and supply‑demand exceptions to minimise stock‑out risk.
• Drive supplier reviews, support qualification and contribute to contract negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Marketing and other cross‑functional teams.
• Identify process gaps, implement continuous improvements and develop the supply chain team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in supply planning, purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in medical devices or a regulated industry.
• Proven track record of building or transforming supply chain structures in a greenfield or start‑up environment.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience with detailed product forecasts and S&OP processes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification (advantageous).
