Supply Chain Analyst – Inventory Control

About the role

The Inventory Control Analyst supports operational activities for AWS infrastructure supply chain operations. This position ensures accurate inventory records, resolves operational issues, and maintains efficient processes across data center hubs and rack integrator partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and execute daily allocation processes.
• Review and resolve invoices on hold, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
• Monitor and manage inventory holds and release processes.
• Create and manage purchase orders with AWS approval workflows.
• Prepare executive summaries and status updates for business forums.
• Track and report key inventory metrics and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inventory processes and procedures.
• Support business reviews with data‑driven insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Related studies in Business Administration, Logistics or Accounting.
• 1‑2 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain operations or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• SAP or similar ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Inventory management systems and databases.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Experience with inventory reconciliation automation tools.
