Supervisor II, Accounts Payable (Travel & Expense)

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Supervisor II to lead the Travel & Expense reimbursement function within the Finance organization. You will manage a team, ensure timely processing of payments, and uphold SOX compliance while supporting the company’s mission to improve patients' lives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise staff and oversee daily travel and expense reimbursement activities, including scheduling and training.
• Update progress reports and metrics for management and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Resolve complex or escalated reimbursement issues and ensure timely payment processing.
• Transmit positive‑pay files to the bank and address related issues.
• Maintain SOX compliance, review and update narratives annually.
• Develop and streamline policies and procedures for travel and expense reimbursement.
• Collaborate with other departments to close reimbursements and validate month‑end accruals.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Perform reimbursement activities using Coupa and other AP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in travel & expense reimbursement or accounts payable, with a proven supervisory track record.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounts payable systems (e.g., Coupa).
• Familiarity with ERP tools such as Concur and JDE.
