Strategy Consultant – AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are seeking experienced strategy consultants to help design and evaluate AI training environments. Working remotely on a project basis, you will translate real consulting engagements into structured scenarios that teach advanced AI systems how to reason like top‑tier consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Create realistic consulting project scenarios, including industry context, financial data, constraints, and ambiguous inputs.
• Design discrete consulting tasks for AI agents such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy, and operational diagnosis.
• Develop grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics, and golden‑answer solutions to train and calibrate LLM‑based assessment tools.
• Collaborate with the AI and data generation team to ensure scenarios are aligned with real‑world consulting practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on project experience at a top‑tier strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, build financial models or market analyses, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Comfort presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring capabilities.
• Experience with financial modeling, market analysis, and synthesis of messy data.
• Ability to produce high‑quality client deliverables quickly.
