Strategic HR Business Partner – Drive People Strategy

About the role

Videndum is looking for a strategic HR Business Partner to join its Human Resources team in Cartago, Costa Rica. In this full‑time position you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with the company’s objectives while fostering an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to design and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
• Provide counsel on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning and change initiatives.
• Coach managers on employee‑relations issues, performance management and conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract, hire and retain top talent.
• Support performance‑management cycles, including goal setting, development and coaching.
• Drive employee‑engagement programs and champion DEI&B initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to recommend actionable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar advisory role.
• Strong business acumen with a people‑first mindset.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Experience guiding leaders through change and organizational development.
