Strategic Engagement Manager

About the role

The Strategic Engagement Manager joins World Wide Technology’s Strategic Resourcing team to own the financial and operational rhythm of customer‑facing resourcing engagements. You will act as the primary liaison between consultants, customers, and internal delivery teams, ensuring clear communication, accurate reporting, and disciplined follow‑through to support successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day communication with consultants and customer stakeholders, running consistent status cadences and managing expectations.
• Coordinate onboarding, off‑boarding, intake, and interview processes in partnership with resource management and delivery teams.
• Own engagement financial tracking and reporting, including utilization, burn, forecast‑to‑end, variance, and risk analysis.
• Support billing readiness by gathering invoicing inputs, confirming approvals, and managing change controls such as purchase orders and change orders.
• Onboard and train project managers on standard processes, financial tracking expectations, and tool usage.
• Identify risks early, escalate appropriately, and drive corrective actions while contributing to process and tool improvements.
