Staff & Sr. Software Engineer – Streaming/Flink

About the role

Cloudera is looking for a Staff or Senior Software Engineer to join its global Streaming Data Service team. You will help design and build a cloud‑native, containerized streaming platform based on Apache Flink that enables customers to develop and run data‑intensive streaming applications at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and ship new features for the Cloudera Streaming product suite.
• Develop containers, operators and Kubernetes jobs that integrate distributed data platform components.
• Collaborate with product management, UX, support and documentation teams in an agile environment.
• Maintain high‑quality, secure and maintainable code throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support field teams and customers during product adoption, implementation and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Strong background in building large‑scale streaming or data‑processing systems.
• Hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade software in Java.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and take ownership of features from concept to delivery.
