Sr. Software Engineer (ETL&AWS)

About the role

We are looking for a senior software engineer to lead the migration of on‑premises ETL jobs and databases to the AWS Cloud. The role combines hands‑on development, data quality assurance, and production support for complex data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, redesign, and migrate existing ETL jobs to AWS services such as Glue, Redshift, and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Develop new ETL solutions using Python, KornShell, Perl, and PySpark on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Automate and orchestrate data pipelines, APIs, and related applications for optimal performance.
• Validate data, ensure data quality, and enforce compliance with business rules and data protection regulations.
• Provide full‑stack development support, including API creation and front‑end/back‑end integration when required.
• Produce comprehensive documentation covering data flows, mappings, code, and support procedures.
• Participate in code reviews, conduct impact analyses, and communicate technical concepts to broader audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing, and AWS cloud services.
• Proven experience leading data migration projects and providing production support.
