Sr. Production Supervisor

About the role

Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of the production process. The role focuses on ensuring efficient use of equipment and materials while supporting cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, plan and supervise production requirements, ensuring equipment and material efficiency.
• Support cost‑reduction projects on materials, processes, or standards.
• Lead or support process, equipment, and product transfer activities.
• Define production objectives, policies and goals, and maintain good relations with supervised personnel.
• Coordinate production scheduling with other supervisors and provide support to Manufacturing Engineers for continuous improvement.
• Promote employee‑safety initiatives, including line rotation programs and proper use of safety equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• English proficiency at C1 level (90‑94%).
• Knowledge of CQE and/or APICs certification is desirable.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Strong competencies in developing others, strategic thinking, influence, courage, communication, relationship building, innovation and vision.

• Lean Essentials and Lean Tools (including 5S).
• Manufacturing process knowledge.
• Problem‑solving methodologies.
