Sr Accounts Payable Representative

About the role

The Sr Accounts Payable Representative plays a key role in the Procure to Pay department, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments to suppliers in line with service level agreements and corporate goals.

Key responsibilities

• Update supplier information in corporate systems as required.
• Analyze invoices against purchase orders to determine payment eligibility.
• Enter supplier payment invoices accurately into established systems.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, identify root causes, and prevent escalations.
• Manage invoice blocking and unlocking processes with appropriate approvals.
• Communicate with suppliers to gather required information and obtain approvers for payments.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve supplier disputes to avoid credit retention.
• Provide support for complex invoice processing situations.
• Approve urgent requisitions and manage purchase order changes in Coupa.
• Respond to Coupa Indirect Procurement inquiries and coordinate issue resolution.

Required profile

• High school or technical degree related to the position.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar accounts payable roles.
• Experience in shared service centers.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B2 level).
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel (intermediate).
• ERP systems experience: Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, Mainframe.
• Proficiency with Coupa procurement platform.
