SQL Developer – Microsoft SQL Server

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on SQL Developer with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server to support critical data operations. The role involves troubleshooting, performance optimisation and delivering robust SQL solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams on a fast‑paced schedule aligned with U.S. East Coast hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views and functions.
• Analyse and optimise query performance using tuning, indexing and execution‑plan analysis.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Support and enhance data pipelines and ETL processes (ingestion, transformation, loading).
• Collaborate with data, product and engineering teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely fixes under SLA‑driven deadlines.
• Contribute to documentation, process improvements and best‑practice guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on SQL development experience.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server development (not administration).
• Proven ability to write complex queries with joins, subqueries, CTEs and window functions.
• Solid understanding of performance tuning, indexing and execution‑plan analysis.
• Experience with data pipelines/ETL tools such as SSIS.
• Advanced English proficiency for collaboration with global stakeholders.
