Specialist, Payroll Tax – Bilingual

About the role

Monitor, reconcile and support overall payroll tax compliance across multiple states and entities on a pay‑period basis. Act as the subject‑matter expert for tax filings, reporting and reconciliation with third‑party tax vendors and government agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile payroll taxes after each pay period and maintain tax accounts within the third‑party vendor environment.
• Review and monitor statutory tax filings, notices and correspondence (e.g., Forms 941, W‑2).
• Collaborate with Finance on payroll tax accruals, journal entries and account structure revisions.
• Support quarter‑end and year‑end tax reporting processes, including W‑2 preparation.
• Perform internal audits of payroll tax data and prepare materials for internal and external auditors.
• Maintain relationships with third‑party tax vendors and address tax exceptions with Payroll Managers.
• Create and maintain specialized tax reports and forms within vendor software and Workday.
• Gather and report payroll‑related data to internal and external customers.

Required profile

• FPC or CPP designation preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and another language).
• Strong understanding of multi‑state, multi‑entity payroll tax regulations.
• Experience collaborating with Finance/Accounting teams on tax‑related matters.
