Spanish Language Specialist (Latin America) – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Spanish (Latin America) language specialist to help train large‑scale AI models. You will work remotely, providing high‑quality linguistic data that enables AI systems to understand and generate accurate Spanish content across diverse dialects and contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with AI models on language scenarios, testing verb conjugations, noun‑adjective agreement, subjunctive usage, and regional expressions.
• Identify and document model failures, capturing reproducible error traces.
• Provide feedback to improve prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Collaborate with the research team to refine linguistic datasets.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Spanish language, linguistics, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, or sociolinguistics.
• Experience with academic publishing, teaching, or linguistic analysis projects.
• Strong metacognitive communication skills, able to “show your work” clearly.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Spanish (Latin America) dialectal variations.
• Ability to evaluate linguistic accuracy and logical soundness.
