Game Developer (Godot) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Godot Game Engine expert to join our remote development team on an hourly contract basis. You will be responsible for building engaging gameplay systems and ensuring high‑quality performance across both 2D and 3D projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize gameplay systems using the Godot Game Engine.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to deliver engaging player experiences.
• Architect and maintain scalable, clean, and well‑documented codebases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate technical solutions within the Godot ecosystem.
• Mentor team members on best practices and development workflows.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and quality assurance processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with the Godot Game Engine and related scripting languages.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality game projects.
• Solid understanding of 2D and 3D game development pipelines and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
• Experience working in remote, collaborative environments.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
