SOX Compliance Supervisor

About the role

The SOX Compliance Supervisor will lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) program across LATAM, North America and ANZ. You will ensure internal controls are designed, tested and documented in line with the COSO framework, supporting both internal and external audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate quarterly and annual SOX certifications, ensuring timely completion and compliance for LATAM, NA and ANZ regions.
• Conduct SOX testing, monitor results, and follow up on remediation plans for deficient controls.
• Train testers and control owners on policies, AuditBoard/Optro software, and best‑practice procedures.
• Report identified SOX deficiencies to the Internal Controls Sr. Manager and define remediation plans with process owners and finance teams.
• Support external auditors and internal audit during control testing and perform independent self‑testing as needed.
• Assist with Delegation of Authority (DOA) updates, special projects, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a recognized accountancy qualification.
• Strong knowledge of SOX and internal management controls, with 3‑5 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, with solid accounting background.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across functions and cultures.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
